We want to make planning your holiday as easy as possible. Here you can find guidance on using our website, its limitations and how to get personal assistance.
Scope and legal context
This voluntary information covers the German and English Bio-Ferienhof Höfler website. Our business is a microenterprise within the meaning of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG). The exemption under section 3(3) BFSG applies to our services.
We nevertheless aim to make the website easy to use and take guidance from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). This is not a statement of full WCAG 2.2 AA conformity or independent certification.
Navigation and readability
- Headings, navigation, main content and a footer structure the pages. A skip link leads directly to the content.
- German and English have separate paths and language identification for assistive software.
- The layout adapts to different screen sizes. You can use your browser's zoom and text settings.
- Informative images have alternative text. Galleries and floor plans provide labelled buttons as alternatives to gestures.
Using a keyboard
- Tab moves to the next link or control; Shift + Tab moves back. Keyboard focus is visibly highlighted.
- Open links with Enter and activate buttons with Enter or Space. Our FAQs can also be opened and closed this way.
- In an open image gallery, use the arrow keys to move between images. Escape closes the enlarged view and Cookie settings. Focus returns to the trigger if it is still present.
- Room buttons operate the floor-plan view, and zoom buttons are available in the enlarged view.
Reduced motion
Our animations respect your operating system or browser preference for reduced motion. Reading content and opening booking links do not require animation.
Known limitations
- Interactive floor plans are schematic and not to scale. They do not establish physical accessibility. Please ask us about specific requirements for access, doors, bathrooms or bedrooms.
- Booking takes place on an external website. Embedded reviews come from an external provider. We cannot fully control these services' operation or accessibility.
- Our full accommodation terms are an original German-language PDF. We do not have evidence of full accessibility for this document. Key payment and cancellation conditions are also available as text on our German and English terms pages.
